The Christian Mission

To evangelize, with the message of salvation of Jesus Christ.

“God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die” John 3:16 CEV

This is the first slogan of the Church of Jesus Christ. The verb “evangelize” (to spread the Gospel) probably of contradictory and not clear meanings handled by the secular society, nevertheless univocal for the Church.

It is known to this activity under the terms of: evangelism, communication of the Gospel, preaching. It is a specific task that becomes detached from:

“Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples “. Mathew 28:19

To belong, to promise to belong to a community gathered around Jesus Christ.

To maintain to support a communion, a Christian family, from there: “brothers in faith “. The Christians do not remain isolated, they compromise themselves in the meeting of the believers (the communion of the saints).

“Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” Mathew 28:19

To teach, on what Jesus Christ wants for our life, from the Bible.

We think about the known terms: upbringing in the Christian faith, discipleship, teaching, training, Sunday School, Bible studies. We want to teach the Bible, book we consider  the only authority to be able to be alike increasingly to our Lord Jesus Christ.

“…and teach them to do everything I have told …” Mt 28:20

To worship, to God in His three Biblical forms, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We achieve it gathered in Christ’s name, in a certain place, we mainly call ‘Church’ (assembly) in our assemblies that we can call also services or worships. We met every Sunday, since we remember that on this day arose our Lord. This day must be special and different (holy) from others, for obedience to God (Exodus 20). There exists a term that wants to deal with this subject matter: ‘Liturgy’.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and most important commandment”. Mathew 22:37 -38

To give and to serve the others according to Christ’s command and for gratefulness for our salvation.

We think about the ministries (services), on helping the needy (service to the neighbor). Showing God’s love satisfying the needs and healing the wounds of the people in Jesus’ name.

“The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself. All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments”. Mathew 22:39-40
